Welcome to WWW Wednesday which is currently being hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words. It’s really just a place to do little update on what all you’ve been reading lately. Anyone is welcome to join, just leave a link to your post in the comments and be sure to give the appropriate credit to Sam!
The Three W’s are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
- Iron Gold (Red Rising, #4) by Pierce Brown – audiobook
- Romanov by Nadine Brandes – audiobook, buddy read
- Sanctuary by V.V. James – physical book
I’m still listening to Iron Gold but it’s been slow moving at the moment, as we’ve just been super busy at work the past week. The same goes for Romanov, which has also been a little boring so far. It’s not quite living up to Brandes’ previous novel, Fawkes. But maybe it’ll get better? Fingers crossed!
I actually haven’t started on Sanctuary yet, but I plan to pick it up during my lunch hour. I’m super excited for this one because I’ve seen rave reviews from those few who’ve read it so far. This one seems like the perfect book to kick off spooky October and I can’t wait!
What did you recently finish reading?
- The Trials of Morrigan Crow (Nevermoor, #1) by Jessica Townsend – physical book
- The Gallery by Laura Marx-Fitzgerald – physical book
I really loved both of these books. I haven’t read any middle grade stories in ages, but these two really got me back into the genre. They were exciting, engaging, and just pure fun mixed with a bit of mystery. It was just what I needed to start off the fall season. I will have full reviews posted soon!
What do you think you’ll read next?
- The Walled City by Ryan Graudin – physical book
- Devils & Thieves (Devils & Thieves, #1) – physical book
- The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw – physical book
What are you currently reading? What books did you finish this week? What are you planning on reading next? Have you read any of the books on my list? If so, what did you think of them? Leave a link to your WWW Wednesday post in the comments below!
I read the Nevermoor book last month and very much enjoyed it too. It made me remember how much I loved the books I read when I was younger and now I want to re-read some of those.

I haven’t read Romanov but it’s on my TBR list! I’m sorry you’re not enjoying it, so far! I loved Ryan Graudin’s Wolf By Wolf duology but haven’t read The Walled City. I hope you enjoy it! I’ll look forward to hear your thoughts on it!
