What are you currently reading?
- Fall of Giants (The Century Trilogy, #1) by Ken Follett – physical book
I have less than 100 pages left in this book and I am OBSESSED. I love all of the characters and I love how detailed Follett is when delving into the political landscape during WWI. I honestly feel like I’ve learned more about WWI and the Russian Revolution from this book than I ever did in school. I really cannot recommend it enough!
What did you recently finish reading?
- Skyward (Skyward, #1) by Brandon Sanderson – physical book
This was my first Sanderson book and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was well-written and I loved the humor that was sprinkled throughout. I loved the unique storyline as well, and cannot wait to see what’s going to happen next in the series!
What do you think you’ll read next?
- The Wicked King (The Folk of the Air, #2) by Holly Black – physical book
I totally forgot I had pre-ordered this book until Amazon told me it was out for delivery and so I don’t think I can hold off picking it up any longer. I am super excited to see what Black has planned for us in this next installment!

Ohh, my copy of The Wicked King arrived today and I can’t wait to dive into it. I still have a couple of other books I need to read first, and I want to try and re-read The Cruel Prince beforehand too, just so I can go into this second book prepared, but I already know it’s going to be amazing! I really hope you enjoy it too. I feel like when you forget about pre-orders it’s like a surprise present right? Granted one you paid for, but still. 🙂

Haha it definitely does feel that way! This is like the third pre-order that I’ve forgotten about in the past few months. I always appreciate the surprise though, haha!

Gah it’s next week before Wicked King gets released in the UK. I want it now. Very happy to hear you enjoyed Skyward. I got it from NetGalley months ago and still haven’t read it. It’ll be my first Sanderson too, so I’m a bit wary.

Ugh, that sucks you have to wait a bit longer for Wicked King! But I can promise that you’ll enjoy Skyward! It’s got humor, an interesting storyline, and a crazy awesome main character. 🙂
