What are you currently reading?

• Crystal Storm (Falling Kingdoms, #5) by Morgan Rhodes – physical book

It has taken me far too long to dive back into this series. I am so excited to see what’s next in store for all of my favorites! The last book ended on a bit of a cliffhanger so it’s going to be very interesting to find out what’s going to happen next. As long as Magnus and Cleo are together, I’ll be happy!

What did you recently finish reading?

• Jane Steele by Lyndsay Faye – physical book, REVIEW

I really enjoyed this parallel retelling of Jane Eyre. It had suspense, mystery, and of course a bit of romance. Jane was such an awesome main character and I would definitely love a sequel to follow along her and Thornfield’s work in the scientific field. Can someone make this happen?!

What do you think you’ll read next?

• Devils Unto Dust by Emma Berquist

October seems like the perfect time to dive into a Western post-apocalyptic novel about a girl fighting zombies. I’m not usually one to really focus on books that fit along with the theme of Halloween, but I’ve really been feeling that this month would be a great time to finally pick up this book. I’m hoping for some serious female badassery in this one!
