After a lackluster reading month in March, April was sooooo much better. I’m finally back in the swing of things, both reading-wise and blogging-wise. I can only hope that the trend continues through May! Luckily, at the end of the month I will be off to New York City for BookCon and I’m so excited for it. If you will be at BookCon as well, please let me know and maybe we can arrange a big group meetup or something at the convention or maybe for dinner! As excited as I am for the convention, I’m probably even more hyped to be seeing the Anastasia musical that Friday night. Ahhhhhh!!!

How did your reading month in April go? Were you able to read all of the books on your TBR? Did you read any new favorites? What book did you like the least? Did you do anything fun or interesting?
Great list of books read! I got through mine as well for April and looking forward to killing it in May. Lol. Enjoy Anastasia!

Been looking for a book for the fruit / veggie prompt… I might read Cress 😀 I have seen it around, but never made the veggie connection in my head!

Yeah, that prompt was totally stumping me until I remembered that cress is an edible herb, so I just count that as a vegetable haha.

Great recap, and wow you got through so many books this month as well. I’m glad you enjoyed Cress and Obsidio, both are all time faves of mine so I always love it when more people read and love the same books I do you know? 🙂 I have The Disappearances on my to-read list, one day I’ll get around to it, and oh good luck with all your reading challenges as well. You seem to be on track for your Goodreads Reading goal which is more than I can say at the moment! 😀

Thank you so much! And yes, I totally get what you mean haha! I hope you enjoy The Disappearances more than I did. I know most people really enjoyed it so I’m thinking that I went the completely wrong way by listening to the audiobook version.

That’s all right. I’ve never tried an audiobook before (I want to) but at least I know now not to start with The Disappearances! 🙂

I really need to get to Obsidio. I’m just waiting for the audiobook to come in at the library then I’ll deff be picking up my copy of it. I also so glad to see you enjoyed The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. I read that a couple of months ago and really liked it.

Oh, I hope you get to Obsidio soon! It was a really great ending to the series. I think Seven Husbands was a little overhyped but I still enjoyed it! 🙂

Obsidio is turning out to be a bit of a slow process which sucks because I’m really excited to read it. Thankfully I have other books to hold me over. Aw, glad you still enjoyed it.

Hahaha yeah, not sure it should technically count as a vegetable but I’m making it work lol… I can’t believe Illuminae is all over now. How much longer do we have to wait for their next series again?!.. And I know, I’m so excited! Ahhhh!!!!
