Teaser Tuesday – August 1st, 2017

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme currently being hosted by Ambrosia @ The Purple Booker. All are welcome to participate!

  • Grab your current read.
  • Open to a random page.
  • Share two ‘teaser’ sentences from somewhere on that page.
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! You don’t want to give too much away so as to not ruin the book for others!
  • Share the title and author so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers.

Six of Crows (Six of Crows, #1) by Leigh Bardugo

Nina ground her teeth. “Do people just come and go from Hellgate for fun?”

“Once a week they do,” said Inej, her little imp horns bobbing along with her head.

Yes, yes, I am FINALLY reading this book. Unfortunately, I hardly picked it up at all over the weekend. I was kind of taking it easy after such a heavy week of reading. But I should really dive into it today. I’m so excited, too! Everyone says that I will love it. Fingers crossed!

Have you read Six of Crows? If so, what are your thoughts on it? What are you currently reading? Are you enjoying your current book?

  1. Oh, I like this meme! I’ve already Six of Crows and it seems to be everyone’s favorite. I still prefer the Shadow and Bone series though, even if I wasn’t a fan of the ending. I just liked the first book. 😂

      1. I would’ve been okay with just Alina. Not Malina. But of course, I would’ve preferred an ending with Alina as the sun summoner. Just saying. 😂
