Aftermath: Life Debt (Star Wars: Aftermath, #2) by Chuck Wendig
“‘That’s exactly right. This is war. It’s easy to get caught up in the swell of it. The medals, the parades, the garlands of lorachid petals on the victors’ brows. But it’s important to remember that war is mostly this: destruction and death. We are killers.'”

I haven’t actually started this book yet but I’m looking forward to it. Give me anything pertaining to Star Wars and it’s love at first sight. I’m a big old nerd and I’m not even ashamed to admit it.
What are you currently reading? Are you a Star Wars fan? Have you read any Stars Wars novels? Leave a link to your Teaser Tuesday post in the comments below.
I have to admit, even though I like science fiction, Star Wars just does nothing for me.

Ah, it hurts to hear that since I’m such a huge fan, but I totally understand. Everyone has different tastes! What are some science fictions that you enjoy? Is it a specific sub-genre?

I definitely prefer hard sci-fi and tend to avoid soft and fantasy crossovers like the plafue but there are always exceptions. Some of my favorite reads: Ender’s Game, Rendezvous with Rama, The Martian, I Robot, We are Legion (We are Bob), History is Just One D*mned Thing After Another, and When Worlds Collide.

My dad and brother are big hard sci-fi fans too. I’ll read some of it every now and then as well but it’s been a while since I’ve picked one up. I’ll definitely have to look into some of those! I love Ender’s Game too.

Star Wars has definitely conquered the collective psych of pop sci-fi, but there is so much inspiring and unchartered stuff out there. Gotta keep our eyes, ears and antennae open!
