I saw this tag on Amber @ Escape Life in Pages and thought it was a fascinating idea. I’ve really gotten into personality tests recently, especially the Myers-Briggs. It’s so interesting to see how everyone’s personalities are so different from one another and how that affects them as a person. Once y’all see my personality type, you’ll see just what I mean! WARNING: If you hate me after reading my personality profile, that seems fair.

What is your MBTI personality type?
ARCHITECT PERSONALITY (INTJ, -A/-T)
It’s lonely at the top, and being one of the rarest and most strategically capable personality types, Architects know this all too well. Architects form just two percent of the population, and women of this personality type are especially rare, forming just 0.8% of the population – it is often a challenge for them to find like-minded individuals who are able to keep up with their relentless intellectualism and chess-like maneuvering. People with the Architect personality type are imaginative yet decisive, ambitious yet private, amazingly curious, but they do not squander their energy.
What is your personality like?
To be absolutely blunt, there is no greater feeling than being told, “You’re right.” Sounds like a terrible thing to say, doesn’t it? But it’s true and I can’t help it! I definitely identify with this personality type. I prefer small groups or to be alone, I’m constantly daydreaming/strategizing/fantasizing/etc, and I love debating things with people. I enjoy hearing different theories or ideas and I’m constantly drawn to new places and experiences. Also, some people think that I’m kind of a bitch which is an unfortunate side-effect but definitely a problem all INTJs have to deal with. It’s because we’re quiet but assertive and always analyzing, sorry!
If you were a character in a book, what would be some of you character strengths and flaws?
Strengths: Will probably be able to survive whatever the conflict is. My character would be able to judge the situation logically and strategize accordingly. I’d be able to communicate exactly how I’m feeling about any situation. Hardworking and independent, will to do whatever it takes to win.
Flaws: Most likely an antihero, villain, or chaotic neutral. Too blunt. Have a hard time working with others or building relationships. Will make a lot of decisions that will piss everyone off or they’ll disagree with. Will have an arrogant or condescending manner.
Do any authors share your personality type?
Actually quite a few authors share this personality type according to BookRiot such as – Jane Austen, Stephen Hawking, Emily Bronte, Ayn Rand, Lewis Carroll, Isaac Asimov, and the controversial Karl Marx. Very interesting list, if I do say so myself.
What fictional characters share your personality type?
Gandalf from Lord of the Rings, Petyr Baelsih (Littlefinger) & Tywin Lannister from the Game of Thrones, Yennefer of Vengerberg from The Witcher Series, Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games, and Professor Moriarty from Sherlock Holmes
If you were a character in a book, what job would you have?
I can see my character being a political adviser or spy. How cool would that be?! But that’s my personal opinion on a career. They have listed military strategist as an option though and I think that kind of goes hand in hand with political adviser or spy.
What personality type would complete your OTP?
The challenge is finding partners who share those same values – though Intuitive (N) types are uncommon, they may be a must for many Architects, as sharing this trait creates an immediate sense of mutual belonging. Having one or two balancing traits, such as Extraversion (E), Feeling (F), or Prospecting (P) can help to keep a relationship dynamic and growth-oriented by keeping Architects involved with other people, in touch with their emotions, and open to alternate potentials.
I guess I need an extrovert who’s in touch with their feelings but is also my equal intellectually (that sounds condescending, right?).

ENFP – The Champion: Ron Weasley, John Willoughby
ENFJ – The Teacher: Peeta Mellark, Boromir
ENTP – The Inventor: Augustus Waters, Fred & George Weasley
I think this was a really interesting personality test and I loved applying it towards books. It was interesting to see what fictional characters share my personality, even though they weren’t always the best characters. I won’t tag anyone to do this but feel free to try it out and see for yourself! I can’t wait to see what you get!
