May TBR: Where I Try and Play Catch-Up

I’m really terrible about sticking to TBRs because I’m such a mood reader. However, let’s see if I can stick with one this month to help get me back on track with my reading challenges! It’s nice to have a goal, right?

My May TBR

I think I have a very varied TBR for this month, which will hopefully help keep me pulled into what I’m reading and not get too bored. I will admit that I’m not looking forward to reading Go Set a Watchman, like at all. Luckily, next month is my month to get to choose our book club pick! FINALLYYYYY!

What are y’all reading this month? Have you read any of the books on my TBR? What did you think of them? What books do you think would be a good choice for book club?

  1. You’ve got a cool mix of books here. Strange the Dreamer is glorious. I liked Armada, although I’m not a gamer so some of it went over my head, and it wasn’t quite as whizzy and exciting as Ready Player One. As for Go Set a Watchman… hmmmm.

    1. Thanks! I’m really excited to read Strange the Dreamer because I’ve heard such great things about it. I read the first chapter of Armada a few months ago and really enjoyed the MC so I’m hoping that the book isn’t such a letdown. I’ve heard mixed things about it but I’m a gamer so maybe it’ll be better for me than it was for some others.

      1. I had to remind myself to eat and drink while I was reading the book over the weekend. Time flew when I was reading this book. Trust me, if you want to cry now, you will be bawling your eyes out. Hope you enjoy the rest of the book! 🙂

    1. Yeah, I wasn’t as blown away by Laing Taylor’s first series but I’m hoping that Strange the Dreamer is better! I find her writing style to be a little confusing normally. I’m excited to read it though!
