Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman
This was probably one of my favorite books of 2016. It was dark, full of action and features one of the most independent and badass heroines. I love it. It’s the perfect read if you’re looking for a straight revenge story. And that cover is freaking awesome, too. You can read my full review HERE.

I wouldn’t go that far Y’allkin but you can’t beat guns and skulls on covers, maybe Swords and blood but guns and skulls are cool to.😀

Haha! He probably will. He’s got good taste for the most part. Though he reads a whole lot more military/science fiction nowadays.

I have been wanting to pick this one up purely for the cover (no shame in my game), but I have to admit that summary has me intrigued as well. I need a good revenge book in my life.

There is not shame in a cover-buy! I do it all of the time! And luckily, this is one of those books where the story actually matches the cover in how good it is. 😊

Ugh, I’ve been wanting to read this for awhile! I even took it out from the library over the summer but didn’t end up actually reading it before I had to return it lol I swear I’ll get to it one of these days.

I love this cover, but I’ve forgotten about this book until today! It’ll be my first Western YA if I do pick it up – that summary is so intriguing. 🙂

I’ve heard and see this book a lot. Is this a part of a series?? Or a standalone?

It’s a standalone but she’s writing another book about completely different characters set in the same time period. I guess it’s going to be more like a companion novel.
