This book… I just… It’s just… I don’t know. It’s strange, pretentious, highly unbelievable, and just plain weird. Yet, here I am, completely engrossed in it. If you haven’t picked this one up – I recommend you doing it at some point! Donn Tartt must be one strange lady to have thought this story up.

I like the sound of the teaser, although I’m not sure if I would actually read it after it took me ages to finish The Goldfinch..

I haven’t read The Goldfinch but I did hear it wasn’t as good as this one. I’m actually surprised by how fast I’m moving through this book. It’s much more faster paced than I was expecting.

I don’t think it would be any time soon, but the fact that it’s better than The Goldfinch sounds promising. The prose in that one was excellent, but the pace is superslow.

Yeah, the prose in this was really good too but it’s been fast paced so far!

Ooh I have this on my TBR. I don’t remember who it was, but there was a blogger raving about this book a few months ago and made me want to read it haha

Yeah, it’s definitely a good read so far, especially if you’re looking for something very different from YA!
