THIS WEEK’S RANDOM QUESTION: Are there any particular worlds in books in which you’d like to live?
I bought the following book(s) this past week…
- The Architect of Song (Haunted Hearts Legacy, #1) by A.G. Howard
- Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1) by Neal Shusterman
- The Mime Order (The Bone Season, #1) by Samantha Shannon
- The Invasion of the Tearling (The Queen of the Tearling, #2) by Erika Johansen
I was able to snag all of these books online from Barnes and Noble last weekend. Three of them are already almost here, and I just got confirmation last night that Scythe has shipped as well! I’m really excited to dive into The Architect of Song as Howard is one of my favorite authors after reading her Splintered series. I’ve also heard great things about the book so I’m really happy about that! I read The Bone Season when it first came out so I will probably do a reread of that one before moving on to The Mime Order. I’ve actually owned The Queen of the Tearling for a while now but I haven’t read it yet. I thought I’d do a binge read of the whole series once the final book is released in December.
Are there any particular worlds in books in which you’d like to live?
HA! What fictional world wouldn’t I like to live in?! But off the top of my head… Harry Potter, Red Rising, Wonderland, Percy Jackson, Middle Earth, and Terrasen. Give me a couple of more minutes and I’d come up with about 10 more. 🙂

Yes to all of the worlds you listed, especially Harry Potter. 🙌 I think I’d only want to live in the Red Rising world if I was a Gold. It kinda sucks for the rest of the peeps. That AJ Howard cover looks pretty cool. I still need to finish the Splintered series.

Haha yeah, I don’t really think I’d want to be a Red but I’m all for being a Peerless Scarred. They’re soooo badass!.. And you definitely need to finish the Splintered series. Howard is so awesome and I’m pretty excited about this book as I’ve heard very very good things about it!
