Hi, y’all! I will be participating in this fall’s Tome Topple Read-a-thon that is being hosted by Samantha @ Thoughts on Tomes. This read-a-thon is all about finishing up those big daunting books that are currently intimidating you from your shelves!
It begins at midnight on November 18th and continues until 11:59pm on December 1st, both in your own time zone. The only requirements for this read-a-thon is that for the books to count, they must be 500+ pages. You don’t need to read 10, or even finish one. This is just a fun time to pick up those big books at the same time as other readers all over the world, and just be there to support one another. You can follow along and discuss your books with other readers by joining the Goodreads group HERE, or on Twitter by following @tome_topple and using #tometopple.
I will probably be a little late starting this read-a-thon as I plan on finishing Wolf by Wolf and Three Dark Crowns before starting.

Hahaha yeah, high fantasy typically are much larger books. I guess you’re just already ahead of the rest of us! 😂

Yeah, that’s true about fantasy, it’s nice to actually read a fantasy book that’s under 500 pages though as it’s short length for fantasy, more a novella than a tome size!😂

I like the sound of this read-a-thon! I tend to stay away from big books, but I have read Queen of Shadows. It’s less intimidating when they’re ebooks, you can’t feel the pages, haha! Good luck!!

Thanks! And I don’t normally, I just pick up whatever strikes my fancy. But I did notice a lot of bigger books on my shelf recently so I thought I’d try and knock some of them out! 😊

It really is. I’m definitely overestimating what I can handle haha! But the ToG books tend to be fast reads, even with all of the pages. I hope I can do it. 😊

I hope you get to all the books and enjoy them as well. I loved Queen of Shadows, it was amazing! That one felt like I flew through it, so I really hope it works out *fingers corssed*

Yes girl!! Heir of Fire definitely was a filler book that ended with a cliffhanger but Queen of Shadows was just a bang all the way through!

I really want to read The Secret History! I can’t wait to see what you think of that one. I’m doing this readathon too, but I only have 2 books on my TBR so I super respect that you have 4, haha!
