What are you currently reading?
Three Dark Crowns (Three Dark Crowns, #1) by Kendare Blake
Wolf by Wolf (Wolf by Wolf, #1) by Ryan Graudin
I’m currently about 60 pages into Three Dark Crowns. It’s been interesting so far, but there have been a whole lot of character introductions and I’m still trying to remember who is who. Hopefully that gets easier as the story moves along and we actually get to all of the action. Also, Kat is annoying. If I have to read one more mention about her being too small, I’m going to pull my hair out.
I started my first buddy read ever last night with Britt @ Geronimo Reads. We both realized that we had Wolf by Wolf for ages but hadn’t actually read it, so we decided to read it together. I didn’t get far at all into it last night but I plan to do some reading during my lunch break today. I’ve heard great things about this book so I’m looking forward to it!
What did you recently finish reading?
- The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid – review to come in the next few days
- Like a River Glorious (The Gold Seer Trilogy, #2) by Rae Carson – Review
Both of these books were really good. I’m a tad bit obsessed with The Gold Seer Trilogy and I wish more people would give it a shot. It’s such a good series and deserves more recognition! And The Diabolic actually lived up to all of the hype! It was a really good YA science fiction standalone that was dark, exciting, and unique. I definitely recommend both of these!
What do you think you’ll read next?
- Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass, #4) by Sarah J. Maas
- Empire of Storms (Throne of Glass, #5) by Sarah J. Maas
- The Secret History by Donna Tartt
- Moon Chosen (Tales of a New World, #1) by P.C. Cast
All of these books for the Tome Topple Readathon that starts on the 18th. There will be an official post tomorrow about this readathon for those of you who are interested!
Have you read any of the books on my list? What are your thoughts on them? Which ones should I be excited about? What are you currently reading? Leave a link to your WWW post in the comments below!
Sounds like you’re reading and also plan to read some really great books. Happy reading! 😛

I attempted Three Dark Crowns last week and got so bored with all the introductions I stopped reading it. I think my mood also made me say whatever. You know I’m a total mood reader. 😂 You’re going to continue on in the ToG series I see. I need to get on the second book soon. So many dang books to read right now plus my own it’s exhausting. 😴 I was wondering if The Diabolic was any good. I was denied an ARC and thought meh I don’t really need to read it after all. 🙂 Let me know if TDC improves.

Hahaha yeah, I’m trying really hard to catch up on all of my TBR but it’s insanely difficult. And The Diabolic was really good I think, with just a few tiny issues… I’ll definitely keep you posted on TDC though!!!

My TBR is like a mountain that could kill me. 😂 Just the ARCs alone could keep me busy for months. Awesome! I can’t wait to see what you think of TDC by the end. 🙂

I know how that feels! Minus the ARCs, I’ve decided I don’t really like them unless it’s a physical copy… Oh for sure! It’ll definitely be an actually Hype or Like review!!

Haha! I like the ARC snob attitude. 👍 I’m honestly getting to be the same way now that publishers are sending them to my house. It’s so much nicer to have a physical copy. Awesome! Can’t wait to read it. 🙂

Hahaha it’s awful. It’s really because I already have a book buying problem and I don’t even have time to read all of those lol 😂.

I loved Rae Carson’s Fire and Thorns trilogy but wasn’t too sure about the Gold Seer books until I saw your review! I requested it at the library so I will hopefully be reading it in the next few weeks 😊 thanks for the great review!

These were my first books by her but they’ve been really good and I’m interested in reading her other trilogy! I hope you enjoy this one!!! 😊

Her other trilogy is very very good and I honestly don’t know why it doesn’t get more attention!

That’s really good to know! My library has it so I’ll be sure and snag it from there the next time I go!

I also have Wolf by Wolf for a while now but haven’t had the chance to read it all this time. Maybe soon when I finish everything on my tbr this month! 🙂 And now that you mentioned it, maybe I’ll give The Gold See Trilogy a shot. 🙂

You really should! They’re both enjoyable reads and Wolf by Wolf has been really exciting so far! 😊

I’m still yet to get to a Sarah J Maas book even though I was given the entire Throne of Glass series last Christmas 🙈

Hahaha that’s alright! I think they’re best to binge read so maybe when you have a lot of time for reading, you can dive in! 😁
