Welcome to WWW Wednesday which is currently being hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words. It’s really just a place to do little update on what all you’ve been reading lately. Anyone is welcome to join, just leave a link to your post in the comments and be sure to give the appropriate credit to Sam!

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

Like a River Glorious (The Gold Seer Trilogy, #2) by Rae Carson

Do you know what else is glorious? That book cover. I’m usually not a huge fan of people on book covers, but this one totally works. LOVE it. I’m only a few chapters into this book but so far, so good. I had forgotten just how much of a badass Leah is. You can read my review of the first book in the trilogy, Walk on Earth a Stranger, HERE.

Side Note: To all of you people who can read more than one book at a time – what is your secret? Hell, I’ve seen some of you even list like 5 books at once! How is that even possible?!

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

I haven’t read any reviews of Starflight, but I’ve been wanting to read it ever since it came in my Uppercase box back in February or March. Unfortunately, its been a victim of my insane TBR and kept getting pushed back until I decided to end the vicious cycle this month!

I’ll be honest – I’m not really looking forward to A Torch Against the Night. In fact, you could almost say I’ve been dreading it. That’s right, folks, I was not enamored with the first book like most people were. I thought it ended strong but not enough to make me crave more of this story. Hopefully this one ends up being a pleasant surprise and not a harbinger of the dreaded reading slump!

What does your WWW Wednesday look like? Have you read any of the books on my list? What are your thoughts on them?
