Well, it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these hasn’t it? I think for next year, I will just do quarterly updates instead. Easier to keep up with and maintain if I only have to update every 3 months, rather than at the end of every month. It won’t look as awful if I have a bad month of reading, either. BONUS!

TOTAL: 18/40
I could probably do better on this…. Yikes.
2016 Goodreads Challenge
Now, this one I really am ashamed of. I’ll blame it on me starting my new job in June and so I was so busy during the summer that I hardly had time to read. That and I was in a reading slump so I binge watched Netflix the whole time. Makes sense, right?
Previous Total: 29/100
However, I am proud to say that my reading habits are back and fully functional! I don’t think I’ll be able to hit my goal for this year by the end of December but I do think it will still be a pretty decent total by the end. Sometimes I feel too much pressure from these challenges, and all it does is make me feel anxious. And I hate feeling anxious. I’m currently 18 books behind schedule and I really don’t like that at all. It’s both annoying and kind of mean how it tells you how far behind you are. I mean, geeze Goodreads, take it easy!
New Total: 57/100
How are you doing on your reading challenges? Which challenges do you participate in? Do you enjoy reading challenges or is it too much pressure?
What is the Pop Sugar Challenge and how do I sign up? I’ve heard lots of people talk about it, but I’ve never been able to find where it is and the info on it.

Hi! I’m not sure if there’s an official sign up for it, as it’s more of just a personal challenge to expand your reading. But you can find it at popsugar.com and there’s a new challenge every year. If you go to my original post about it, there’s a PDF link where you can download your own copy of it to print out and check off.

I passed my 100 books for the Goodreads challenge. I can’t believe how many books I’ve read so far this year. It’s crazy! You’ll meet your challenges by the end of the year. I’m sure of it. You’ve been reading a lot lately. I think I’m going to check out that Pop Sugar Challenge. I remember reading about it on your blog months ago, but then I completely forgot about it.

That’s awesome!.. Haha I’m not sure I will but hopefully I’ll get close. I doubt I’m able to complete the POPSUGAR one. That’s one of those challenges that you definitely have to plan for and I just never think about it when I’m picking out new books.

Can I do the Pop Sugar one after the fact? I’m wondering how many I can cross off already.

Oh, for sure! There’s no official signup for it, it’s just a personal challenge to help expand your reading preferences.
