I haven’t gotten too far into this book yet, due to not feel very well the past couple of days. I do plan to spend my evening really digging into it, though. I’ve heard that this series gets really good which I’m really interested in seeing happen. I want the Komizar to turn into this so-bad-he’s-so-good type of villain, like the Darkling was in the Shadow and Bone series. I’m a sucker for a good villain or antihero. Give me all of the morally ambiguous characters!!!

I bought the first book in the series last month because the Kindle book was on sale for like $2. I’ve heard really good things about the series.

I think I read the first 20 pages of the first book, then got bored. Was it worth it to read? ^-^

Well it did take me over a month to read the first book because it was fairly boring for the first 200 pages but so far this one isn’t too bad. I’m not very far into it yet though so my opinion could change haha!

Okay. Maybe one day I’ll re-pick it up. Does it have insta-love? Because if it does I’ll probably never pick it up. XD

No, I wouldn’t call it insta-love. There is a tiny love triangle but it’s handled pretty well.

Ughhhh more love triangles. But I suppose if it’s done right, it’s okay. Maybe I’ll bump The Kiss of Deception up on my TBR. ^-^
