I just started this book last night but it immediately grabbed my attention. I love that it’s contemporary fantasy, which makes for a very fascinating setting. I’m also really enjoying Holly Black’s writing. This is my first book by her but I have to admit that it’s definitely making me want to check out her other novels!

I know!!! I’ve been such a terrible blogger friend this summer (or blogger period lol) 🙈… And no, I haven’t. I’m going to jump in for next month’s book because I just refuse to read it haha. To me, it just ruins the magic of HP and the story itself but doesn’t interest me. Makes me feel like such a terrible HP fan but I can’t help it lol.

We should chat about next month’s book then. I was originally thinking A Darker Shade of Magic, but I know you already read that. How about Shatter Me or The Young Elites? The problem is I’m not sure what everyone has read. I usually take a poll with about 5 books. Shoot me some ideas and I’ll start the poll for next month. We should also discuss topics. DM me on Twitter when you get a chance and we can BS like old times. 🤗 I’m really loving the new HP story. I was afraid I’d hate it but nope it’s so addicting. I’ll be done it later today.

Okay, I’ll message you when I get home from work! Haha, I’ve read all 3 of those actually but I’ll do some thinking about different books to add to the poll… I’m glad you’re enjoying HP though! The story itself just didn’t seem very interesting to me, as I want there to be some good old HP magical fights and adventures lol.
