Welcome to WWW Wednesday which is currently being hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words. It’s really just a place to do little update on what all you’ve been reading lately. Anyone is welcome to join, just leave a link to your post in the comments!
The Three Ws are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think youβll read next?
Currently Reading…
So I made it about 30 pages intoΒ Passenger before I realized I wasn’t really feeling it at the moment and chose to pick upΒ Finnikin of the Rock instead. Truth be told, I haven’t really felt like reading at all the past couple of days. I think Genrethon burned me out. However, I do plan to read today so hopefully I stick to that during my free time. I am still enjoyingΒ The Reflections of Queen Snow White but I haven’t really picked it up for very long recently. I blame it on Genrethon. Okay, I’m just blaming everything on that now!
Recently Finished…
I finished these beauties during Genrethon and I highly recommend each of them.Β Dorothy Must Die is twisted and exciting,Β Ink and Bone is philosophical and intriguing, andΒ Half Bad, well I really enjoyed it but I still haven’t quite figured out why. I’m behind right now on reviews as well (I’ve been in a strange mood recently), but I should get caught up by the end of the week and haveΒ DorothyΒ andΒ Half Bad finished. You can find my review ofΒ Ink and BoneΒ HERE.
Want to Read Next…
These are all of the library books I picked up yesterday, so I plan to read those as soon as possible. Then I plan to take cut back a bit at the library and alternate between a library book and a book I own until I finish my currently owned TBR shelf. I mean, that would be the smart thing to do, right? Right?! Don’t worry, it is.
I also just realized that I’m starting a lot of series lately but not finishing them. Might as well add that to my TBR too. Damn, this thing never ends!

I created a separate shelf in Goodreads last week for all the books in series which are being published soon just so I don’t forget about them!
I now try to avoid series because I get sucked into them and have no time left for stand-alones!
Read Vicious next! It’s really good π

That’s what I need to do! I need to make a shelf for all of my unfinished series so I know which ones I left off in the middle of. I’m sure there’s an obscene amount of them, haha!

Thanks! I’ve heard such great things about it so I can’t wait to see for myself!

Don’t trust the negative reviews on Goodreads, I can’t explain any of them. It seems that people either really love it, or really hate it but since I’m in that first group I can’t explain the latter.

Well I’m a huge fantasy fan so I’m sure I’ll love it too!

I never do the smart thing when it comes to books. Probably why I keep over committing myself.

Shame you didn’t rate Passenger as it really appeals to me but I keep hearing negative things about it..a bit unsure whether to add to my TBR really.

I was surprised I did not struggle to finish Passenger, even though appealing books kept appearing on my TBR. I can’t wait to start The Reflections of Queen Snow White, but it will have to wait until next week π¦ I’m still impressed by your genrethon. We don’t often do the smartest thing when it comes to our TBRs! I know I should tackle the book heap on my nightstand, but I keep getting new ones instead.
Happy reading! Xx

Well maybe you just have better commitment than I do! I’m very bad about sticking with something, haha!

How am I just now seeing this? Damn WP reader. I’m late to the party. It’s almost Thursday here. Okay, so I’m reading Red Rising, as you know. I recently read November 9 in about three hours. And I want to read Dorothy Must Die and The Shadow Queen. I have to read Passenger. Sighs π I have a feeling if the Institute parts are that addicting that my next read will probably be the rest of the Red Rising series.

Haha oh it will be! The books always end on a cliffhanger or WTF moment and you won’t be able to help yourself! π

I did genre reading last year – no, 2014 into 2015. Each month I chose to focus on a different genre. I remember trying to do titles with alliterations – like September Sizzlers (for romance) and such, but I got so burnt out. My first month and the month I did children’s books were the best of them all (6? 8?). It’s killer.

Oh gosh, that’s some serious dedication! I don’t think I could handle doing an entire month of one genre, I would burn out so fast.
