Rules:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two ‘teaser’ sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! You don’t want to give too much away so as to not ruin the book for others!
  • Share the title and author so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers.

Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys

I had read about these young recruits in spy journals. The Party identified them early and bestowed them with important missions.

Salt to the Sea

Not the best teaser for this book, unfortunately. This story is soooo good so far. There are so many different stories and characters with secrets that I have no idea what is going to happen. I cannot wait to see when everything is out in the open! The suspense right now is killing me!

NetGalley ARC Current Read

Dove by M.H. Salter

Release Date: May 4th, 2016

As I duck my head through the tent and my eyes adjust from the blearingly bright sunshine outside, I see four cots, one in each corner. I try not to think about why these beds are empty, nor about when they will be empty again.

Dove

I’m only about 20% into this book but I love it so far. There are no reviews or anything on it for Goodreads yet which I kind of like. If you love the 70’s culture of peace, love, and freedom, then this book is for you. Be aware though, this is not a YA novel so there is some adult content.

Have you read either of these books? What are you reading right now? Leave us a link to your Teaser Tuesday post!
