The Lovely Blog Award

Thank you so much Kourtni @ Kourtni Reads for the nomination!

The Rules:

  1. Each nominee must THANK the person who nominated them and link their blog in the post.
  2. They must include the rules and add the blog award badge as an image.
  3. Must add 7 facts about themselves.
  4. Then nominate 15 people!

My 7 Facts About Myself…

  1. I live in East Texas. And no, it’s not desert. This area of Texas is called the Piney Woods because it’s full of forests.
  2. I am currently attempting to read multiple books at once for the first time ever. If you follow me on Goodreads or Twitter, you’ll know how stressful I’m finding this.
  3. We have 3 dogs. Bandit – a pound puppy mix, Trigger (who’s really my brother’s) – half boxer/pitbull, and Sugar – a Jack Russell.
  4. I could eat sushi all day, everyday.
  5. I’m a bit of a gamer but recently I’ve slacked off a bit to read instead. I prefer Xbox and PC games, in case you were wondering. πŸ™‚
  6. I had the highest amount of AR points in school every single year that we did it (also set the school record). I’m 25 years old and I’m still really proud of that accomplishment.
  7. I’ve been on a job hunt since I got back from Prague last summer. Substitute teaching and working at my parent’s company is not my idea of a career. I NEED A REAL JOB. Yeah, you could say I’m pretty frustrated at this point haha.

I’m only going to nominate a few people. Don’t worry if you’ve already done this or just don’t want to!

Good luck on the job hunt and that is definitely an accomplishment regarding your AR scores! You should be proud πŸ™‚

Also.. I feel ya on the Texas comment. People tend to stereotype the whole state – we just don’t know better πŸ™‚ (or.. well.. I don’t know better)..

  2. Thanks for the nomination! πŸ™‚ Piney Woods sounds lovely! I know exactly where you’re coming from with the reading multiple books thing – I’m doing this at the moment for some reason, and I’m not getting anywhere with any of the books as a result haha.

  3. I can never read multiple books at once, I get lost and frustrated, so congrats for trying! πŸ™‚ And also for the AR points, you should never stop being proud of this!
Good luck on the job hunt, I just found one myself and I’m so glad it’s over (at least for now!) πŸ™‚
