I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson

I’m only about 125 pages into this book and while it’s beautifully written, I’m just not getting anything from it. I really like Noah so far but I can’t stand Jude. Nothing is really happening yet either which is starting to annoy me. Am I just missing something? Does this book get better? Because I feel it putting me into a reading slump.

A Stolen Kiss (Stolen Royals #1) by Kelsey Keating

I just got this from NetGalley last night and am only a few pages into it but it’s cute. I don’t normally read multiple books at once but I’m gonna attempt it right now to give me a bit of variety between books.

Illuminae (The Illuminae Files #1) by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristof

LOVED IT. I picked this one up because it was mostly a cover buy and everyone was saying how good it was on Instagram. I barely glanced at the synopsis so I wasn’t really sure what it was about other than it’s set in space. Boy, it went somewhere I was not expecting! I cannot wait for Gemina to come out now. I’m going to try and have the full review today sometime.

  4. All four of your future reads are on my tbr! I wish there was more time! Illuminae is really interesting me as I’ve seen so many positive reviews from people. It doesn’t seem like my usual type of book but I think I’m going to give it a try one day!

    1. Haha that’s awesome! I definitely recommend Illuminae. I do really enjoy science fiction novels but this book is really well written with some great twists, so I think there’s a little something there for everyone.

  9. I’ll Give You the Sun, Illuminae and The Love that Split the World are all on my TBR 🙂 It’s exciting because I don’t know much about any of them except many people seem to love those books.
