It’s that time of the week again! Big thanks to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words as always for hosting this wonderful meme, connecting all of the wonderful book bloggers out there. Anyone can join, just answer the 3 questions and leave a link to your post in Sam’s comments so everyone can see what you’ve been reading lately. Simple as that!
The Big 3 Ws Are:
What are you currently reading? What did you finish recently? What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading
I’m almost finished with Morning Star by Pierce Brown, which is the final part in the Red Rising Trilogy. This one may leave me with a severe case of book hangover and if Brown pulls a George R.R. Martin on me (he would totally do this too), there will be hell to pay. Seriously, nothing annoys me more than when authors kill off my favorite characters. But anyways, this series is amazing so everyone should read it. You will love it. Also, Brown gave a little teaser as to what his current project is on his Instagram account a few days ago. I think we can only expect more amazing things from this author in the future.
Finished Recently
I finished this amazing book, A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas a few days ago. It was amazing. I recommend it to all who love Beauty and the Beast, faeries, and some fun characters. You can read my full review HERE.
Future Reading Plans
I promised a few fellow bookstagrammers that I would move this beauty, An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir, to the top of my TBR pile. I am obsessed with anything to do with Ancient Greece or Rome and apparently the world in this book is based on those empires. I truly have no idea why I kept passing it up at the bookstore even knowing how much everyone loves it. But hey, ask and you shall receive.
Yes, yes, I do realize that I keep saying I will finally start the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. Trust me, they are glaring at me from my shelves to do so. It will happen. Immediately. I think?
See any of your favorites? Have any recommendations for me? Disagree entirely with my choices?
Let me know!
I also loved ACOTAR.. can’t wait for the sequel. ♥

ACOTAR and Ember in the Ashes are both on my tbr and I can’t decide which I should read first. I only ever see people saying how much they love ACOTAR though, so maybe that one!

I’m really looking forward to reading them since everyone loves them so much!!.. Girl, you need to get on Morning Star. It will blow your mind! I had forgotten some past points but it does a good job or rehashing things so you don’t feel so completely lost. I seriously think Brown is a god at writing. So so sooo good!

So many good books in this post. All these authors are fantastic. And all the pretty covers. I hope you enjoy reading them all! I just picked up ACOTAR, so I’ll probably be reading that soon. 🙂

I’ve been reading that series. Still a bit to go! I got distracted by other lovely books. Lol. But so far I love it and Sarah J. Maas has such a good writing style! It’s clear, concise, yet manages to say so much and create such a great atmosphere. 🙂

I haven’t started it yet but if it’s anything like ACOTAR then I totally get what you’re saying! Hopefully I’ll get to it in the next couple of weeks.
